Provider Team

It is the goal of the Charlotte Acupuncture and Wellness Center to provide each of our patients with the highest quality acupuncture, massage, dry needling and herbal care available. Each of our providers is highly trained, state licensed, and board certified on a national level in each of the therapies that they offer at the Charlotte Acupuncture and Wellness Center. Our providers also strive to stay at the forefront of their respective fields by continuing to complete advanced training with some the most respected practitioners across the country.

Hope Peek

Hope Peek is the Director of integrative women's health services at Charlotte Acupuncture and Wellness Center. She is one of the first acupuncturists in the nation to become a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM), a charter member of the Clinical Excellence in Fertility Program, a North Carolina Licensed Acupuncturist, and is nationally board certified in acupuncture and herbal medicine. She graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College with a masters degree in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) in 2005, completed an additional internship in China, and has received advanced training in Oriental reproductive medicine. Hope co-founded Charlotte Acupuncture and Wellness Center in 2006.

Hope is an expert in the treatment of infertility, pregnancy health, postpartum health, and other reproductive health issues. She has studied with some of the top reproductive acupuncturists in the world, and she was the first acupuncturist in Charlotte to create a practice with a focus on the treatment of infertility. Hope's interest in improving the health of women and providing them natural options lead her to developing a unique and comprehensive facial rejuvenation program. This program is currently available exclusively at Charlotte Acupuncture and Wellness Center and combines several advanced natural techniques to provide patients with refreshed and healthy skin. 

Hope is adept at treating pain conditions, as many of her women's health patients also present with pain. She has collaborated with partner, Todd George, since 2005 to provide effective pain relief treatments including acupuncture, electroacupuncture, dry needling and Microcurrent. Hope is also experienced in treatment of digestive issues as well as insomnia, anxiety, stress, depression, & fatigue.

Known for her compassionate heart as well as her skills and years of experience, Hope has been serving patients since 2005. She was born and raised in Charlotte and is a graduate of UNC - Chapel Hill with a B.A. in psychology.

Todd George

Todd George

Todd George is a licensed acupuncturist and nationally board certified in acupuncture and herbal medicine. He received a Masters of Science degree in Oriental Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College (MSOM), and he has completed postgraduate clinical training in hospitals in Beijing, China. He has been in practice since 2005 and has been serving patients in the greater Charlotte area since 2006.

Over the years, Todd has completed many post-graduate, advanced courses of study. He was the first acupuncturist in North Carolina to complete the dry needling program of the Janet G. Travell, MD Seminar Series with Myopain Seminars, and he is a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT). Todd studied neuro-acupuncture at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, scalp acupuncture at the International Academy of Scalp Acupuncture and contemporary electroacupuncture techniques at the Eastern School of Acupuncture. Todd and Hope Peek were also some of the first clinicians in North Carolina to offer Microcurrent.

Todd is known for integrating both traditional and modern scientific approaches to treat pain, and he uses a blend of different techniques, including: traditional acupuncture, neuro-acupuncture, trigger point dry needling, Microcurrent and the Balance Method. He focuses on treating various pain disorders, including: migraine headache, neck and shoulder pain, tension headache, plantar fasciitis, low back pain and sciatica. Todd is originally from Bucks County Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. He received a bachelor's degree from the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.

Erica Rosen

Erica Rosen is a licensed and nationally board certified acupuncturist and herbalist. She completed a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) at the Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine and a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) degree at Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville, NC. After graduating with her Master's degree, Erica completed a year long, post-graduate fellowship in neuromuscular rehabilitation and pain management while working in the Northwest’s premier Postural Rehabilitation (PRI) physical therapy clinic. During this time, Erica also spent time being mentored by a top fertility acupuncturist in the Pacific Northwest. Erica then joined the Charlotte Acupuncture and Wellness Center team in 2017 and has focused her practice on neuromuscular rehabilitation, women’s health, pediatrics and internal medicine issues. 

Erica is a native Charlottean and a veteran in the health and wellness world. She received her undergraduate degree in Health Promotions and Psychology from Appalachian State University, and she has worked in several non-profit women’s health centers as the Clinical Education Coordinator and Lead Clinical Assistant. Erica is also a certified Yoga instructor. Her interest lies in creating an interdisciplinary, holistic approach for the patient, helping the individual to achieve optimal, balanced health. She is passionate about building healthy communities through effective health care.

You count on them for help acquainting you with our process, answering any questions you may have, coaching you towards success and making sure that you are comfortable from start to finish.

Tanna Campbell

Practice Manager

Tanna Campbell leads our support staff and manages the all administrative aspects of the practice. Tanna prides herself on providing top-notch patient care, is well versed in insurance billing and keeps everything running smoothly around the clinic.

When not at work, Tanna likes to spend time with her husband and their two dogs, watching baseball, eating vegan, enjoying music and training for endurance events.
